I was completely overwhelmed, in a very very good way, when I came across Paul Saari’s landscapes. I want to call them apocalyptic landscapes, but I’m not sure that’s entirely accurate. Maybe you should be the judge.

Overwhelming is an apt description. His landscapes are unlike anything you’ll see anywhere else. Spectacular. The palette is almost Victorian, but the subject matter is whimsical but modern. More than a little tongue and cheek in much of his work.
