Emily Bickell

Friday, July 4th, 2008

I like the almost abstract nature of Emily Bickell’s water paintings, and I would love to see more from her series that include International Maritime Signal Flags.  Maybe I’ll get the chance next weekend as she’ll be in booth PINK 102 at this years TOAE.

Michael Gerry

Michael Gerry’s paintings have a wonderful darkness to them, not creepy or foreboding, but still and quiet.

You can find his work online, and at booth Turquoise 531 on July 11, 12, and 13th at Nathan Phillips Square.

Peter Rotter

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008

I’ve had the good fortune to meet and spend a little time with Peter Rotter in rural Ontario, where he gets most of his inspiration for his incredible landscapes.  I highly recommend giving him a visit at this years TOAE.  He’ll be the one at booth PINK 135.
